House of Bagels: Your Go-To Destination for Delicious Bagels in San Jose

Ham, Egg, and Tomato-Basil Cream Cheese on a Jalapeño Cheese bagel...without question, the best bagel breakfast sandwich I've ever had in my life. Highly recommend, and based on the 10+ person line at 6:55am on a Sunday before they opened at 7am, others agree.

Yum yum. Worlds best breakfast bagel sandwich with egg, sausage and sauce on an incredible bagel. My daughter and I took our first bites and we said in unison “5!” Great quick service in a long line so I did not have time to catch the order taker or servers names Great morning stop with great coffees No indoor seating. Outdoor seating in plaza on the corner Accessible open door entry. Accessible order and pickup Venue. Accessible outdoor seating with no umbrella but lots of shade tress on a fairly busy intersection Free accessible parking that is hard to find in a lot shared with 7-11 Order ahead is a good option

Always long lines but it’s moving. Great selection of bagels. I love their pesto cheese bagel with tomato basil cream cheese. Love how crunchy from outside and still soft from inside. Not too chewy and not too soft.So far I have found this place is to be the best for bagels in San Jose. Great and fast service. I visit this place once a month and it doesn’t disappoint. They have some chairs and tables outside but no seating indoor. Limited parking but should be easy to find space on the street.

Soo good! This place is super cute cafe in a middle of residential/college area in san jose downtown. Their bagels and coffee were fresh, good in taste and cheap than other places. We got a onion with veggie cream cheese and garlic with jalapeno cream cheese bagel. Also a really good hot cafe mocha!

When we arrived, there were about six people in front of us. I got a cheese and jalapeño bagel with cream cheese and it was amazing. My mom tried to order her bagel and they gave her one that she felt was burnt, so she asked for a new one. They won’t totally thrilled, but they were happy to accommodate. This is the best bagel I have had in so long ! In Canada, the bagels are nothing like this. They’re completely different, so I have missed the fluffy chewy yummyness of these bagels . I will be back next time I’m in the country.

The best bagels in town! I get coffee and a bagel here every morning on my way to work. The quality is always excellent, the portions of the filling are very generous. I recommend trying their signature sauces — they turn out even more interesting. 5 stars deservedly!

I did not even plan to get bagels, but I was at a nearby Coffee shop and saw the queue lining in front of the restaurant and was intrigued. I went around lunchtime on a weekend and there was some line, but it moved pretty fast and I was able to order in 10-15 minutes. The store itself is quite small and pretty old looking, but they have plenty of outdoor seating. It can be a bit hot on a sunny day, so you might want to grab a seat under the shade. They have lots of different types of bagels. Some traditional, some non-traditional. Apart from cream cheese, they also do bagel sandwiches such as lox or bacon, egg, and cheese. The service is super duper fast. Literally, my bagel was out in a minute. I have no clue how they managed to do it so fast. There is also coffee and I saw a lot of people getting coffee, but I did not try it. I got the jalapeño bagel with tomato, basil cream cheese, and while not traditional at all, it was very tasty and filling. Also, it’s about five dollars per bagel cream cheese, which I think is great value. Definitely recommend this place.

No-frills bagel spot that does the basics really well. They offer a huge variety of bagels and cream cheese combinations. There’s almost always a long line, but the service is very quick, so it moves fast. Clearly a popular spot, and for good reason. They’re very generous with the cream cheese and never stingy with portions, which I really appreciate. The prices are also very reasonable. We got two onion/everything bagels with veggie cream cheese for about $10. There are a few parking spots outside (around 6–10) shared with the 7 Eleven next door, but they fill up quickly.
